Airvana announced successful interoperability tests for voice calls in September 2007. Both companies will co-operate to market and sell the joint solution, although each company will independently supply its product to the operator. Ubiquisys collaboration agreement was announced in January 2008. Netgear (which incorporates a Ubiquisys femtocell in its modem products) also announced collaboration in February 2008. Pirelli Broadband (who incorporate an Airvana femtocell in their set top box products) announced a collaboration agreement in May 2008.
