There are several types of vendors, many of whom are collaborating to provide complete solutions: Independent femtocell vendors:
- Ubiquisys: Launched ZoneGate in Feb 2007. Teamed up with NetGear to produce complete home gateway with DSL, WiFi and VoIP.
- ip.access: Launched Oyster 3G in Feb 2007. Already had 2G GSM product and expertise from that. - RadioFrame: System vendor of femtocells and UNC. Launched versions for iDEN (US based standard) and WiFi, and currently developing a 3G variant. - Kineto Wireless: UNC vendor with success in WiFi already. Proven interoperability with many other vendors. RAN equipment vendors:
