Juni Logo Juni were established in in Sydney Australia in 1988, but have expanded into several offices around the world. They offer a range of coverage solutions which include repeater products.

More recently they have been developing both WiMAX and 3G UMTS femtocells and a femto gateway. In October, they claimed their products were nearing completion and in trials with several operators.

For UMTS:

Their JFU-100 femtocell shown below is similar in specification to other vendors with 50mW peak RF power output with up to 4 simultaneous voice calls and peak HSPA data rates up to 7.2Mbit/s.

Their JFU-200 femtocell gateway claims to conform to the (not quite yet finalised) Iu-h interface, so presumably could interwork with other vendors femtocells.

For WiMAX:

Their JFW-500 WiMAX femtocell is based on 802.16e (i.e. Mobile WiMAX) and has an ethernet connection to the network via domestic wireline broadband (such as cable or DSL).
