A small, specialist company based in Munich, Germany which provides software stacks and consultancy to femtocell equipment vendors.
The founders had previously worked in Optimay, which provided software stacks and services for GSM and 3G handsets. That company had worked closely with many well known semiconductor chip vendors and provided a reference stack incorporated into many 2G and 3G phones.
Node-H is developing portable and platform independent software that implements the RNC part of a 3GPP standards-based Femtocell.
Node-H is working with chipset vendors to create Femtocell platforms which allow Femtocell and Residential Gateway vendors a quick entry to the Femtocell market with a cost-competitive solution.
It's unique differentiator is their "virtual verification system" which regression tests the software more quickly and thoroughly than can be done on the hardware platform alone.
