Orascom group, headquarted in Egypt, operates a number of mobile networks mainly in the North African, Southern European and Western Asian regions.

In September 2007, ip.access announced a frame agreement to supply 2G and 3G femtocells to the group.

The press release stated that 2G femtocells would focus on enterprise customers, whilst 3G would be targetted for domestic use.
