BW1102 chipset was marketed with availability in sample quantities in Q2 2008. They announced a complementary RF chipset for picoChip's baseband and control processing design in March 2008. Raising a further $10M in investment funding during August 2008, they announced the BW1102 RF front end component would be available in commercial production by the end of 2008. This chip can operate at any frequency between 500MHz and 5GHz, covering all mainstream spectrum usage for cellular phones and femtocells. Bitwave Semiconductors website
